Familiarity with various materials, including metals, polymers, and ssues.
Proficiency in materials tes ng, analysis, and interpreta on of results.
Strong understanding of engineering materials proper es and structure-property

General Descrip on:
As a Senior Engineer, you'll work both independently and within a team to develop innova ve
solu ons. You will lead projects, contribute to organiza onal objec ves, collaborate with
physicians, R&D Leadership, the core team, lab technicians, and mentor colleagues. Your
specialized knowledge and advanced educa on will drive our con nued success.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Requires advanced knowledge of the job area, typically obtained through advanced educa on
combined with experience. Prac cal knowledge of project management is needed.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Designs, develops, analyzes, troubleshoots and provides technical skills during research and/or product development. Designs studies to investigate specific life science questions within field of expertise. May be involved in product research and development and/or clinical trials. Translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects from design to implementation while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education (typically University). DIFFERENTIATING FACTORS Autonomy: Seasoned individual contributor. Works independently under limited supervision to determine and develop approach to solutions. Coaches and reviews the work of lower level specialists; may manage projects / processes. Organizational Impact: May be responsible for entire projects or processes within job area.
