The Quality Technician is responsible for the direct testing of product to insure quality standards and procedures are met and align with customer specifications.
Inspection of production material including1 st piece inspections, receiving inspections, process audits, etc...).
- Remove defective items from production with proper identification of the item and reason for removal.
- Report defects to the appropriate manager.
- Manage calibration system including setting up outside service calibrations and calibrate certain hand gages (calipers, micrometers, height gages.
- Support new product development and continuous improvement by integrating quality tools into processes.
- Qualify new or revised products using Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and First Article Inspection Reporting (FAIR) following AIAG guidelines.
- Create and maintain quality documentation, processes, and reports.
- CMM Programming (Micro Vu)..
