The cornerstone of our Illuminate Platform, the Digimarc Digital Watermark is an identification technology unique to Digimarc that provides an unparalleled level of covertness, ubiquity, redundancy, and security. THE CHALLENGE…
We are currently in search of a Senior Quality Engineer with a proven track record of helping teams in the development of modern web applications. Working within the product engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing a culture of quality and crafting highly scalable, high-performance web applications that meet our users demands.

WHAT YOU WILL DO…
Collaborate with Product Owners and Technical Leads to ensure quality through requirements feedback.- Participate in product backlog grooming and sprint planning, following agile practices, to address quality and testing concerns, ensuring stories meet the “ready” criteria.
- Lead testing efforts, pair-test with software engineers or review testing activities to ensure stories reach the “done” criteria.
- Enhance quality through automated testing, including regression and CI/CD integration, in line with agile principles.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives with other Quality Engineers.
- Leverage production data to identify quality concerns and drive application quality improvements. through data-driven insights.
- Cultivate strong team relationships to foster a culture of quality, innovation and creativity.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR…
5+ years of testing and automating modern-web applications at a UI and API level.- Experience with automation tools and frameworks like Playwright, Cucumber, K6, Appium or similar industry tools.
- Experience in leveraging cloud-based testing tools and technologies, including CI/CD integration, device farms, containerization, monitoring, observability and a plus for GCP proficiency.
- Deep understanding of applying modern testing principles within an agile framework rather than traditional testing methods.
- An ability to coach the team on quality and testing and foster a quality culture.
- Good experience in BDD practices and collaborative scenario writing with cross-functional teams.
- Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies and best practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in an emerging environment.
- A passion for ongoing learning and enhancing technical expertise.

PAY RANGE
This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill set, experience, training, licensure, certifications, geography and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
