Job Description
This position is responsible for performing Quality Engineering duties to support hydromechanical/Electromechanical products in development, qualification, fabrication, assembly, and test. This position requires working on-site daily M-F at our Los Angeles facility.
• Provide Quality Assurance support to customer, and internal functions including Manufacturing, Assembly, and Test.
• Manage execution of new programs into the production, ensuring adherence to customer requirements, while achieving schedule and cost goals.
• Develop and implement product quality plans, PFMEA and control plan.
• Review and approve of product drawings, Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs), manufacturing process plans and First Article Reports (FAIRs).
• Oversee effective review, implementation, and flow down of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) into manufacturing and supply chain.
• Support product proof-of-build (POB) activities and assist in the evaluation and improvement of manufacturing processes.
• Support internal non-conforming material control process, including Material Review Board (MRB).
• Lead structured problem-solving activities (e.g., 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa) to resolve customer complaints, audit findings, or customer returns in a timely manner that prevents reoccurrence,
• Support internal and customer system, process, and product audits.
• Promote adherence to Eaton’s Quality Management System (AS9100), and drive process and product improvements.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or Mechanical engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive quality Experience in aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Quality Engineering disciplines & Manufacturing concepts.
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office.
• Problem solving techniques, such as 8D, Fishbone, 5-why, PFMEA.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Candidates residing in the US that are willing to relocate at their own- expense will be considered for role.
• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience with FRACAS and reliability reporting.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
• Knowledge of Six Sigma tools.
