As a Senior Quality Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across our operations. You will be responsible for quality analysis effort on multiple applications, drive process improvements, and champion a culture of continuous improvement. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization's operational excellence. Incumbents will utilize their expertise to analyze and validate that software applications, systems, and programs are functioning in accord with the business areas.
What Will You Do?
- Follows internal policies and procedures to solve very complex problems in creative and effective ways.
- Completes assignments in system testing and quality assurance processes that extend to new technologies and business processes with little to no assistance from management.
- Evaluates current industry standard testing analysis techniques and best practices to establish efficient processes.
- Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of insurance, business concepts, technical computer skills and advanced Quality Analyst skills by mentoring and directing the work of others.
- Demonstrates leadership skills sufficient to coordinate the tasks of a small team of Quality Analysts for the completion of a significant goal or objective.
- Utilizes their expertise to analyze and validate software applications, systems and programs to ensure they are functioning in accordance with the business areas expectations.
- Possesses expert skills in conducting root cause analyses of defects and risk assessments to promote efficiency.
- Works on complex assignments where significant initiative and independent judgement is often required to search out the appropriate course of action within and outside the context of established goals and objectives.
- Analyzes business requirements, technical specifications and test scenarios to build complex test plans, test cases and test scripts that ensure proper and efficient test coverage for complex systems.
- Implement data-driven reporting and analytics tools to monitor and report on key quality metrics, enabling data-informed decision-making.
- Provide insights and recommendations for process enhancements and risk mitigation strategies.
- Create & maintain Test Cases and Test Scenarios in Azure DevOps
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, mathematics, or business
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in the software testing field
- Ability to perform root cause analysis by querying databases, analyzing log files
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- SQL, POSTMAN and SOAP UI skills
- Good Knowledge of Agile Scrum Methodologies
