About the Role:
This role will report to the NA Proposal Manager and support the proposals process/function in North America as a program contributor. The role involves supporting process improvements working with the global sales, project management, operations, and legal teams as well as building quality and compelling RFQ/tender packages on time. Working regionally across all our geographies and in conjunction with our sister companies in the POG sector, it's a pivotal role that will lead and implement change to ensure successful bid packages, increase our revenue and improve our operational efficiency.
Experience managing the proposal preparation process, including the ability to understand and analyze the details of an RFP/tender. Ability to coordinate and edit proposal input from a variety of different resources. Excellent process, time and project management skills and experience of process redesign. Strong communication skills both written and verbal English language skills.
Role Responsibilities:
  • Adoption and excellence in implementing automated quoting tools (SalesForce) including representation in a global consortium aimed at process and tool improvements
  • Develop sustainable processes and content to ensure efficient scalability to effectively make the best use of internal (people, tools, processes) resources and online proposal tools such as Salesforce
  • Cross functional management to ensure robust and responsive quotes and proposals for tender packages
  • Ensure a balanced Proposal Engineer workload across regional resources
  • Project manage the process from receipt of the proposal request through to submission and handover of successful proposals to project management
  • Coordinate all resources in support of responses for the NA proposals team e.g. Operations, Legal, Project Engineering, Product Management, Sales Operations, i.e kick off meetings internally.
  • Central point of contact for bids from all sales territories within NA
  • Oversee all aspects of proposal preparation - from coordination to edition - and develop new content as we create new products and/or features.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 5+ years' experience in sales, inside sales, proposals, or sales engineering
  • 2+ years of experience using SalesForce CRM or other CRM suites

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or other technical disciplines
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Leadership experience with confidence in dealing with all levels of management and experience of working with sales teams across different verticals and geographies.
  • Experience in sales processes and proposals for energy sector customers (Oil & Gas, Clean Energy, Refining, Petrochemicals)
