About This Role
The Sr. Program Lead, Patient Access - Copay is responsible for managing day to day operations and oversight of the Biogen Copay Program. This position has direct responsibility for project management, document and training creation, initiative tracking, cost / benefit analysis and overall partner performance. This role facilitates communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure programs are aligned with legal and regulatory guidelines. This role will have direct oversight on the execution of the copay program as outlined in the Biogen Copay Policies.
What You’ll Do
- Manage day to day operations and oversight of our copay programs, partner led or cross functionally within Biogen, including project pull through, initiative tracking and readout, cost benefit analysis, overall performance, and escalation management
- Responsible for program performance and making decisions to define and improve existing services across Biogen portfolio and therapeutic areas
- Analyze escalation trends to identify common issues and partner with the appropriate teams to develop mitigation policies. Work closely with vendor teams on on-going projects and enhancements
- Manage detailed project plans to ensure cross functional alignment on external partner initiatives such as IT, reporting, & project management to ensure all tasks and timelines are on target
- Manage daily email inbox related to vendor supported processes or operational questions related to any programs the vendor team manages
- Partner with legal/regulatory to handle complex escalations, implementing strategic initiatives to maintain and improve processes, organize feedback and ideas regarding the strategic direction of program(s)
- Work closely with the field to educate and answer questions on anything related to program operation or site/patient/HCP escalations
- Provide program expertise to review and update internal and external departmental procedures, talking points, faxes/letters and training documents in partnership with training and compliance teams
- Ensure audit readiness for all Biogen Copay Programs

Qualifications
- 4+ years previous Patient Services or Biotech Vendor Management experience
- Understands Biogen products and overall business objectives
- Understanding of reimbursement / copay programs
- Ability to translate strategy into actionable steps with input
- Excellent problem solving, time management and organizational skills
- Prior experience with working with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and CCS
- Experience with vendor management, including tracking performance and contractual obligations
- Demonstrated success in leading projects and technical mastery in designing processes in CRM or equivalent systems
- Superior verbal and written communication skills to influence cross and interdepartmental performance and present complex information to front line employees, call center management, and senior executives
Education:
Bachelors Degree preferred
