At T-Mobile, we are building new ways for consumers to engage with our brand. The Senior Partner Manager will be responsible for supporting/growing partnerships for the Assurance brand and will serve a crucial role in growing and sustaining this groundbreaking program. In this role, you will work directly with partners and agencies to define the specific parameters of value propositions delivered within the program, including total value, cost, limitations, and redemption and fulfillment requirements. Serve as face of program to existing partners, renegotiate deal terms as needed, and facilitate partner approvals in efforts to continue delivering new and engaging offers to our customers. This individual will partner with the Business Development team to on-board partners and set-up them up for success within the program. Often serving as the key point of contact on behalf of T-Mobile Tuesday's, they will develop deep relationships with recognizable consumer brands through the establishment of large, complex and often unique partnerships and business models. The successful candidate will 1) foster and lead innovation and growth across a range of brands, 2) build effective strategic relationships, and 3) structure and execute partnerships that deliver on-going value to T-Mobile customers and the partner. Success in this position requires a dynamic individual with high energy and motivation with an acute passion for developing innovative business solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Works with current and prospective partners and agencies to define the specific parameters of each sponsorship partnership, including total value, cost, limitations, and redemption and fulfillment requirements.

  • Serve as face of program to partners, renegotiate deal terms as needed, and facilitate partner approvals.

  • Realize and comprehend T-Mobile’s vision for consumer engagement. Serve as its charismatic ambassador or messiah to potential external partners.

  • Structure and drive strategic partnerships and new business relationships including development of key economic, business, and operational terms; negotiate and execute contracts with these partnerships; and manage their evolution.

  • Balance unit economics, redemption requirements with compelling value props and simple, no strings attached promise for customers and mutually assured value creation for T-Mobile and partners.

  • Scout, identify and/or create new business opportunities with existing partners

  • Identify and analyze complex market/business opportunities, evaluate key players and capabilities, assess customer and market opportunities, develop differentiated product/service strategies, create potential economic/financial/business models, make T-Mobile recommendations, and develop business relationships to mine strategic partner relationships.

  • Formulate recommendations and lead reviews of new opportunities, technologies, business models etc., to cross-functional teams

    Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Work Experience:

  • Business development, alliance management, and/or strategic sales experience with financial/economic analysis preferably in consumer-focused wireless, high-tech (software, internet/new media, entertainment/content, etc.) or consumer electronics industries, or with wireless industry OEMs.
  • 4-7 years of working experience in related areas.

Washington Pay Range: $135,300 - $183,000


  • The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.
  • At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives. And since we are ALL owners, EVERY employee at T-Mobile is eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
