SRG is growing! It is an exciting time at SRG with many opportunities. We are seeking to add a Healthcare Project Manager / Medical Planner with 15+ years' experience. This position represents an opportunity for you to quickly grow into a leadership role within our Health & Wellness team.
We see great value in holding multiple interests and areas of expertise within the field of healthcare design. You may be a Project Architect with an interest in managing clients and project teams, a Medical Planner whose expertise stretches from early programming and planning through technical coordination and documentation, or hold some other combination of skills. If you like working with healthcare and/or behavioral health projects and don't fit neatly into just one box, we would love to talk to you about how your unique skillset can complement SRG's Health and Wellness team.
SRG was founded nearly 50 years ago on a simple idea: partnership as both our name and an attitude that shapes everything we do. Partnerships define how we engage our clients, how we work with each other and how we build our teams. Our NW roots contribute to this outlook through a deep appreciation for the natural beauty that surrounds us and a pioneering spirit that drives us forward. This attitude is expressed in our work: design that is inventive, deeply sustainable and based on the best ideas to achieve our clients' highest aspirations.
SRG offers flexible work environments with dedicated time to collaborate in our light-filled design studios located in the downtown cores of Portland, OR and Seattle, WA as well as flexibility to work from home.

  • Engage directly with clients, consultants, medical equipment vendors, and the contractor team.
  • Manage the Washington Department of Health (DOH) submittal and approval process.
  • Mentor team members across multiple projects, helping to attract and nurture diverse talent within SRG.
  • Embrace SRG's collective design approach so the entire team is engaged and contributing to the advancement of the project.

What you bring
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
  • 15+ years of experience in a range of Architectural roles
  • License and LEED accreditation, preferred
  • Healthcare and/or Behavioral Health project experience
  • Strong working knowledge of FGI guidelines for healthcare facilities
  • Drive to constantly expand abilities, improve processes, and create elegant solutions to complex problems
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Curiosity and thought leadership that inspires the team to seek and develop innovative approaches that elevates the project
  • Experience with and desire to engage in business development
  • Combination of big-picture and detail-oriented thinking
