Job Description Summary
This position will analyze problems and administer more than one infrastructure area. Will understand and develop non-functional requirements for a system. This role is proficient at DevOps concepts, Scripting and automated deployment, monitoring and support. Will execute day to day tasks related to operational or project work. Contribute to 247365 days of on-call staff coverage.
Job Description
+ Performs daily database and database application support which includes the following tasks: Contributing to 247365 staff coverage, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB and MariaDB, MySQL, Hadoop, Redshift, AWS EMR database and application server administration.
+ Support EBS 12.2 and 12.1 On Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
+ Monitoring the application related products like oacore, oafm apache etc.
+ Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies and procedures.
+ Take care of the Database design and implementation.
+ Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges)
+ Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams.
+ Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support.
+ Patch Management and Version Control.
+ Perform database tuning and performance monitoring.
+ Perform application tuning and performance monitoring.
+ Cloning DEV and TEST from PROD.
+ Perform patching, cloning, taking backups, managing archives and regular maintenance activities
+ Coordinate with Oracle, Application Support team, Unix/Linux/storage and other Application teams
+ Experienced in troubleshooting Oracle Application configuration and infrastructure issues
+ Exposure and hands on Performance tuning of instance and application
+ Experience and hands on shell scripting
+ Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN Backups and Restore, OEM
+ Good understanding on Architecture and infrastructure (servers)
+ Perform database monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning
+ Manage and maintain databases using Oracle Enterprise Manager
+ Develop automated solutions to everyday tasks using BASH/SHELL/SQL/PLSQL scripts
Responsibilities
+ Two or more of the these certifications: AWS Sysops certification, AWS Solutions architect associate certification, MTA, MSCA, Cisco-CCNA, CCNP , Database administration (Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB and MariaDB, MySQL, Hadoop, Redshift, AWS EMR ), Avaya (ACA, ACSS, ASIC, ACE).
+ 3+ years minimum experience deploying and/or administrating infrastructure solutions or database administration.
+ Strong working knowledge of automated deployment and Cloud platforms.
+ AWS Sysops certification or certifications in VMware, Microsoft, Cisco, Avaya, Oracle, SQL Server.
+ Critical thinker.
+ Demonstrated problem solving techniques.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Willing and able to quickly learn new technology.

Potential pay for this position ranges from $79,340.00 - $126,940.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
