Position Overview
As a Senior Loan Originator at Streamline Funding, you will play a pivotal role in originating and managing Private Lending transactions in the real estate sector. You will work closely with borrowers, brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate financing solutions that meet their needs while adhering to the company's lending guidelines and policies.
Job Duties
Loan Origination
- Generate leads and cultivate relationships with borrowers, brokers, real estate professionals, and other referral sources.
- Evaluate loan applications, conduct due diligence, and assess creditworthiness of potential borrowers.
- Structure financing solutions tailored to the needs of borrowers while ensuring alignment with Streamline Funding's risk appetite and lending criteria.
Pipeline Management:
- Manage a pipeline of loan applications from origination to closing, ensuring timely processing and efficient workflow.
- Communicate effectively with borrowers and internal stakeholders to provide updates on loan status and address any concerns or inquiries.
Underwriting and Risk Management:
- Conduct thorough analysis of borrower financials, collateral, and other relevant factors to assess loan viability and mitigate risk.
- Work closely with underwriting team to review and analyze loan documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with borrowers, brokers, and other industry professionals to drive business growth and foster repeat business opportunities.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies governing Private Lending activities.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive loan files, documentation, and records in accordance with company standards and industry best practices.
Background and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Private Lending, mortgage banking, or related industry.
- Strong understanding of real estate finance, underwriting principles, and lending practices.
- Proven track record of success in loan origination, business development, and relationship management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and loan origination software preferred.
