Form of workMortgageRight is looking for an experienced Mortgage Loan Originator Assistant to join our team and work in our San Antonio TX branch. The Loan Origination Assistant will assist the Mortgage Originator(s) through the application process on an ongoing basis as well as to perform daily administrative and relationship building duties.
Essential Duties:
- Track referrals, update data base and maintain contact with customers, Realtors and Attorneys.
- Obtain necessary information and guide applicants through the mortgage process (such as requesting documents, running credit, working with client’s Realtors, etc.) gathering conditions up to file submission.
- Order inspections, appraisals, titles, etc.
- Input loan data, scan and upload files to complete the application for submission.
- Process loan information for credit and automated underwriting
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have mortgage program knowledge with 2 years' experience as an LOA
- Encompass experience required
- Must have ability to communicate mortgage requirements to clients, processors, and referral partners.
- Experience in marketing/social media is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills, positive attitude, ability to work independently as well as in a team environment are required.
- Experience with Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Construction and other types of mortgages is preferred.
- Must be pro-active and initiate action to correct problems as necessary.
- Must be detail oriented and can prioritize tasks in a logical manner.
Required Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Mortgage loan processing experience a PLUS!
Full time, Monday-Friday in office
This is an hourly position plus per file bonus
