As a Senior Marketing Associate, you will be pivotal in executing strategic marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility, drive engagement, and generate qualified leads. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for various tasks including industry tentpole and strategic partner event management, department project management, and digital/social media management. This role will also be responsible for the Office Management of our small NY office and team.
Responsibilities:
Industry Tentpole & Strategic Partner Event Management: (45%)
- Plan, coordinate, and execute industry tentpole events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand presence and foster meaningful, qualified lead opportunities, e.g CES, Cannes Lions, Advertising Week, etc.
- Establish and maintain relationships with strategic partners and industry influencers to collaborate on joint marketing initiatives and co-hosted events.
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, budget management, and onsite execution.
- Conceptualize, manage, and maintain brand collateral as it relates to events & partnership activations (swag, e-blasts, on-site branding, CRM lists, event invites & landing pages, promo materials, etc.)
Project Management: (Always On)
- Lead high-priority cross-functional marketing projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, sales, BD and PR to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive results.
- Utilize project management tools to track progress, allocate resources, and communicate project status updates to internal stakeholders.
- Reconcile budget monthly
- Act as primary liaison between office manager in ATX Headquarters & NYC team to ensure a positive, professional work environment
Internal & External Communications (20%)
- Maintain monthly internal newsletter & CRM
- Maintain/present internal quarterly reporting KPIs to senior management
- Help coordinate monthly external client newsletters (agency & publisher focus)
- Manage & maintain data within CRM program (Hubspot)
Digital/Social Media Management: (25%)
- Develop and implement (organic & paid) social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth across various platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Create compelling content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, that resonate with our target audience and align with brand messaging.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and proactively engage with followers to cultivate a vibrant online community.
- Manage weekly/ monthly content calendar to align with larger marketing activations and campaigns for optimal reach and awareness
Office Management: (10%)
- Coordination with building management on service requests
- Act as the main POC for all Office Management related vendors
- Support ordering/stocking supplies as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Digital & ad/martech experience preferred
- 3-4+ years minimum experience in digital marketing or related field, with a focus on event management, project management, and social media management.
- Proven track record of successfully executing marketing events and activations preferably within the B2B media space.
- Incredible organizational skills & attention to detail
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Strong proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and project management software.
