Job Title: Sr Manager, Social, Influencer, PR & Media

Essential Function
- The Sr Manager, Social, Influencer, PR & Media will own the social media management, evolution and development of social media accounts. Having an analytical test and learn mentality, this Sr Manager will build measurable and scalable programs to immerse SBH into emerging platforms. This role will also support the retail social media teams with education and execution of emerging platforms best practices, including organic social, PR, influencer strategy and brand activation. Providing guidance, development, and governance to direct report(s), this Sr. Manager needs to lead with creativity and passion to build community and social engagement.
Primary Duties
- 30% Provide leadership & strategic guidance for how social, PR, Influencer and Brand Activation Media can drive community growth within the salon stylist community. Orchestrate efforts across channels to drive integrated campaigns with increasing levels of engagement.
- 25% Oversee management of social media campaigns and day-today activities inclusive of online advocacy, writing editorial, community-outreach efforts, promotions, etc.
- 25% Oversee management of influencer campaigns and relationships as it relates to business initiatives and education opportunities
- 20% Partner with crossfunctional Integrated Marketing leads to ensure Social, PR, Influencer and Brand Activation programs are aligned with business goals and objectives and support seasonal campaigns and initiatives
Knowledge, Skills Abilities
- Organic and Paid Social Media, PR, Influencer & Brand Activation Strategy and Execution
- Owns the development of strategy, along with the Sr Director, of all CosmoProf social media channels
- Implements diverse strategies to ensure target audiences are serviced accurately.
- Manages social content and channel management
- Partner closely with merchandising, creative, Integrated Marketing, and performance media for integrated marketing plan development.
- Leads team of Managers for social content and engagement.
- Partners with crossfunctional and channel peers to educate, integrate, and implement new platforms into brand social strategy.
- Researches and evaluates industry trends, audience behavior, and growth patterns to determine white space opportunities
Reporting
- Supports Sr Director with Social, PR, Influencer & Brand Activation Strategy
- Minimum 6-8 Years Experience in Social, Influencer, Marketing, Communications, Retail Store Marketing, or similar field.
- Must have experience with emerging platforms such as TIkTok, Twitch, Live Streams, Audio Channels
- Experience with Audio and Video development a plus.
- Must have experience developing social media strategy and execution plans on behalf of a brand.
- Must have expert knowledge on existing social media landscape, functionality, trends, consumer behaviors.
- Must have knowledge on social commerce.
- Must understand social media metrics and performance.
- Experience with social media enterprise software (Sprinklr, etc) and Project Management Software (Workfront, Wrike, Etc).
- Experience translating insights to actionable marketing activations.
