We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to evaluate, implement, coordinate, and assess safety and health programs, utilizing knowledge of industry related regulations and to develop and recommend new procedures and approaches to safety and loss prevention. As an EHS Sr. Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees spread across four manufacturing facilities and the field. In this role, you will collaborate closely with leadership to maintain compliance with safety standards and foster a safe work environment. AES Industries is one of the nation's largest manufacturers of roof curbs and diffuser systems for the HVAC industry and, along with the mechanical services division, AES Mechanical, provides HVAC replacement services to National Account customers in all 50 states. This position would support both divisions of Manufacturing and Construction. The compensation range for this position is approximately $120k - $140k + Bonus and will be based on the candidate's qualificaitons, experience, and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a culture of safety by organizing safety campaigns and other educational initiatives.
- Implement best in class EHS strategies, programs, and practices.
- Develop new and creative methods to drive continuous improvement of EHS practices.
- Provide guidance and training on safety protocols, proper equipment usage, and emergency response procedures.
- Act as an advisor to the leadership team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
- Lead incident investigation process, including root cause analysis and identification of corrective action plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs through data analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety laws and regulations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10+ years related experience
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Safety Professional) are preferred
- Proven track record in driving a cultural and behavioral change
- Demonstrated influence and coaching skills
- Hands on approach to assessing risk and leading change – on the shop floor and in the field
- Strong communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills
This role is based out of our Richardson, TX headquarters. However, the role will require 50% travel to the AES headquarters in Tallassee, AL, just 30 minutes outside of Auburn, AL, and the three AES manufacturing locations.
