In 2023, we launched a men's line called Mando. Mando uses the same technology as Lume but has different scent profiles.
We are a 6-year-old fast growing, omni-channel deodorant and personal care brand that's transforming the way that humans do hygiene. We joined forces with Harry's, another disruptive brand with great people and infrastructure, to accelerate our growth. We are a team of self-starters that roll up our sleeves and get it done. Our style is collaborative and very fast-paced so an adaptive personality is a must.
About the Role:
The Sr. Manager of Sales will be a critically important role leading our Walmart partnership for Lume. This role will have a direct impact on the company's future growth as they will continue to build scale for the Lume business and significantly broaden the awareness for the brand. For this role, we need an amazing Customer development leader – one who understands customer needs and requirements, while translating and executing the Lume vision in retail formats. As this role works across almost all Lume functions, we need a team player who can collaborate across functions, develop strategies, and effectively communicate across teams to enable partner functions to meet and exceed customer expectations. This role also requires strong organizational skills, analytical capabilities, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Your core responsibilities
- Lead customer development activity managing our Lume business at Walmart.
- Develop and execute Annual Business Plan for Lume that delivers on revenue and profit goals and works across company channel strategy.
- Build best in class relationships within Walmart – merchandising, marketing, and supply chain – to drive optimized outcomes for Lume.
- With agency support, manage customer development, sales analytics, and forecasting needs, as well as project management and strategic execution for Walmart.
- Ensure operational excellence across all merchandising and marketing elements of Lume at Walmart, including, but not limited to, omni-channel experiences, forecast accuracy, marketing activations, and demand planning.
- Manage brand P&L for customer, including Trade Spending and Operating Expense.

Who you will work with
- Internally: Your primary connections will be with Retail Sales Strategy & Analytics, Lume Marketing, Demand and Supply Planning, Finance and Fulfillment.
- Externally: You will work closely with Walmart's merchant teams and cross-functional partners, including Marketing, Planning, and Inventory teams. You will be a primary point of contact for Lume.
- You'll report to the Head of Retail, Lume.
This role can be done remotely, however there may be location constraints based on where Harry's is registered and able to employ individuals. That said, our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards package, which also includes a comprehensive set of benefits and our equity program. The base salary hiring range for this position is $130,000-$145,000, but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate's location, skill level and experience.
