What you'll do...
Performs regular tasks by assembling boxes and lids and stacking them on pallets to be racked for future use; utilizing equipment (for example, forklift, dolly) to load and unload trailers and moving pallets; cleaning the warehouse; and performing basic maintenance on equipment (for example, filling forklift batteries with water, charging forklift batteries, changing pads on the floor cleaner). Processes and prepares incoming mail for storage and retrieval by opening pallets of store and club boxes; cataloging and categorizing boxes in preparation for storage; reviewing record tracking information for completeness; following up with customer to complete tracking information if required; itemizing non-document items and preparing for shipment; notifying stores and clubs that are non-compliant on record retention storage guidelines; and maintaining record storage documentation. Evaluates the need for facilitates record retrieval from third-party storage facilities by communicating with and providing retrieval guidance to requesting store or club; reviewing requests and determining appropriate selection of documents needed for retrieval; ensuring requested records are delivered to requesting party; assisting with retrieval issues; reviewing charges from retrievals in order to dispute any questionable charges; and collecting and providing documentation to support charge disputes. Provides customer support by providing information and answering questions on retention guidelines; identifying, requesting retrieval of, and organizing record data for special projects; analyzing and reconciling weekly compliance reports on record storage shipments. Fulfills document requests by researching, maintaining, and updating document tracking system; identifying and gathering requested records; preparing records for delivery; coordinating delivery and pick up routes; processing returned documents; compiling inventory lists; and organizing data for recording purposes. Leads and participates in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools; determining customer needs and business priorities; coordinating and executing work assignments; providing advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved; and modeling and helping others with how to adapt to change or new challenges. Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; analyzing and applying information from multiple sources; monitoring progress and results; and identifying and addressing improvement opportunities. Demonstrates, promotes, and supports compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by explaining, guiding, and demonstrating how to apply these in executing business processes and practices; implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and assisting management with correcting ethical and compliance issues and problems.
