The Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems and applications in a complex enterprise environment. They will be responsible for validating and implementing security and compensating controls. They must have a deep understanding of a wide range of technologies, enabling them to design, deploy and support the enterprise.

Job Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud-based applications infrastructure and services (Azure and AWS)
- Manage onshore and offshore team for 24x7 support
- Develop and maintain standards and procedures for cloud technologies
- Stay up-to-date with recent technologies and products, adapting them to business requirements
- Design and implement on-premise and cloud-based network infrastructure
- Lead vendor project implementations and support for network infrastructure and security solutions
- Develop and manage operational service metrics and SLAs
- Maintain and audit n-1 compliance
- Design and implement directory services, messaging platforms and integrations
- Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary engineering team with enterprise messaging and productivity platforms
- Provide guidance and direction on innovative solutions with enterprise messaging and productivity platforms
- Coordinate technology implementations and deployments with business and project management teams
- Plan and track resource allocation for Network Infrastructure group
- Manage department operating and capital expense budget
- Maintain relationships with key vendors
- Develop, maintain, and implement enterprise systems, telecommunication systems, cloud technologies, and network infrastructure standards
- Develop and implement standards and procedures for enterprise systems, telecommunication systems, cloud technologies, network infrastructure, and security
- Maintain and update network and infrastructure architecture diagrams
- Participate in leadership, team, and customer/client meetings
- Provide technical guidance to project team members
- Learn recent technologies and products quickly and adapt them to business requirements
- Perform other assigned duties as required
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a senior Infrastructure Engineer
- 3 years of vendor relationship management
- B.S. or B.A. degree in Information Systems, Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or 10 + years of experience in
- Strong technical skills in multi-cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, and GCP)
- Extensive knowledge of virtualization (KVM, VMware) and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) technologies
- Extensive knowledge in enterprise productivity suites including Microsoft M365, Google Workspace, and Slack
- Extensive knowledge in enterprise server technologies such as Microsoft Windows Datacenter Server and Linux (CentOS and Redhat)
- Proficient in enterprise database systems such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle, or MySQL
- Proficient in storage technologies such as NAS, NFS, and SMB protocols
- Proficient in network infrastructure including SASE, VPN, WiFi, Juniper switches, Palo Alto firewalls, Aruba Central, etc
- Proficient in enterprise telecommunications architecture such as Asterisk/FreePBX, OpenSIPS, VoIP, and call manager systems
- Experience with managing large hybrid MacOS/Windows endpoint environments
- Experience with managing large MacOS environments
- Experience with outsourced on/offshore infrastructure teams
- Experience working with vendors such as Microsoft, AWS, Google, Palo Alto, OpenNMS, Jamf, Aruba, Juniper, Slack, Synology, Manage Engine, Zabbix, Zoom, and Veeam
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing cloud services in Azure, AWS, and GCP
Preferred Qualifications
- One or more cloud practitioner or higher certification
- Working knowledge of Microsoft licensing process
- Infrastructure certifications
- Advanced/current Juniper and/or Azure certification(s) strongly preferred
- Microsoft certification and/or PMP certification

The pay scale the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of the posting is $160,000 - $175,000 and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, experience, training, licenses, certifications, and other business or organizational needs. Compensation will be determined based on the above factors along with the requirements of the position. At The L.A.
