The primary purpose of this role is to provide world-class, innovative blended learning solutions for our customers, partners, and employees. Altera Education Services works with functional teams across Altera to ensure education programs are aligned to and support Market, Product, Financial, and Organizational business objectives. The instructors primary responsibilities include: Delivering product training in various modalities, primarily Virtual Instructor-led (vILT); designing, developing and maintaining product training materials; researching and developing new training classes as needed.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver programs and curriculum for various products for clients and employees
- Analyze the effectiveness of training for clients and employees and develop appropriate modification if needed
- Develop systems to monitor and ensure employees are performing their responsibilities according to the training
- Ensure the compliance of the company's employees to cooperate with standards and procedures during training sessions
- Provide support and mentoring for new employees while conducting an evaluation and identifying sections where improvements are needed
Qualifications
Academic and Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent/years of experience required.
Experience:
- 4-8 years general content or education development experience
- 4-8 years of learning systems experience, content management, and production experience
- Experience developing training materials
- Experience delivering training via multiple modalities
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, oral and written communication, organization, and planning skills.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to self-manage multiple tasks.
Tools Experience:
- ViLT Delivery Systems
- Adobe Suite of Applications, specifically Captivate. (preferred)
- MS Office Suite, MS Project, SharePoint, and Visio
Travel Requirements:
- Up to 50% travel may be required.
- May require other travel for business needs.
Working Arrangements:
- Work is performed in a remote environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards.
