Position Summary:
Manage all HR functions, including hiring, benefits, compensation, HRIS, and employee relations. Create and carry out Human Resources programs. Ensure that proper files and documentation are kept and that they are in accordance with applicable laws. This role necessitates knowledge in order to assist in the establishment of the company's Human Resources infrastructure and operations in preparation for the company's upcoming public offering. This position necessitates knowledge of California labor laws, a strategic vision for the company's growth, and the ability to manage the rapid changes and unique pressures that accompany the transition from private to public status.
Responsibilities :- Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive human resource strategies to support the company's growth and IPO goals.
- Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and training processes to ensure the company is well-staffed with skilled professionals ready for the transition.
- Training and Development: Create training programs to encourage employee development and company growth.
- HR Operations and Systems: To ensure efficient operations, evaluate and implement HR systems (such as HRIS). Prepare for scale changes following the IPO.
- Stakeholder Communication: In preparation for the IPO, collaborate with top management and external stakeholders such as legal teams, auditors, and consultants.
- Compensation and Benefits: Create competitive compensation packages, equity plans, and benefit programs that are appropriate for a soon-to-be public company.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all federal and state regulations are followed, with a special emphasis on California labor laws. Keep up to date on regulations that apply to publicly traded companies.
- Design and manage a performance review process that is aligned with company goals and the expectations of public investors.
- Culture and Employee Relations: Create a positive work environment and manage employee relations to ensure effective communication and problem resolution.
- Risk Management: Identify and plan for potential HR risks associated with the transition.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Create an inclusive environment and ensure that diversity initiatives adhere to company values and state regulations.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- +7 years of HR management experience, with prior experience in pre-IPO or IPO transition highly preferred.
- Outstanding interpersonal and leadership abilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of HR systems and tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or similar certification.
- Experience in EVSE.
- Familiarity with SEC regulations pertaining to Human Resources.
Compensation: 110k 154k DOE
