Sr. Graphic Designer

Position Description:

Creates and edits a variety of materials such as text files, photos, illustrations and logos, and turns them into effective, coherent, integrated and exciting marketing pieces for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities. Assists with training and mentoring less experienced Graphic Designers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for all visual and graphic elements of the following: advertising campaign digital assets, brick and mortar location signage, event branding and collateral development, and other printed and digital design elements. Works closely with department leaders and is accountable for the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of all graphic art and design. Reviews artistic design strategy and requirements with Team Members in Marketing as well as all functional and support departments within GCNA. Ideates original and production-based design work, conceptualizes graphics required, produces sample layouts, then edits and modifies based on feedback. Supports in guiding the graphic design team. Partners with marketing project management leads to provide art direction for photo and video shoots. Partners with marketing project management leads, and other creative team counterparts to collaboratively ideate bring to life creative concepts. Recommends standards or parameters (in conjunction with contracted advertising agency) for usage of approved graphics and monitors usage for adherence. Prepares print materials in accordance to print standard requirements and supports in print production of design work. Assists with the training and mentoring of Graphic Designers, and is an active collaborating partner of the Marketing and Communications team.
