Position Overview: The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for combining accounting knowledge and complex financial system knowledge to provide accurate, credible internal and external reporting information.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • Provide business system administration work for systems supporting the Real Estate Platform.
  • Leads or coordinates system and report changes with vendor including defining and testing the changes.
  • Define and test system enhancements.
  • May coordinate development of tests matrices, procedures, and documentation.
  • Provide data quality reviews on data within systems.
  • Proactively identifies improvement opportunities by exploiting system(s) capabilities to further meet divisional and/or department goals.
  • Create, modify, and document processes.
  • Ensures requesters of information have all relevant information to make a decision by surveying, probing and documenting the needs of the requester.
  • Prepare business requirement specifications for IT projects.
  • Fully capable of extracting information from the system(s) providing credible information for reporting or decision-making.
  • Has an in-depth knowledge of how information is connected and relates to all systems in order to determine accuracy of data.
  • May lead or serve as a member of divisional project teams for system conversions and enhancements.
  • May be responsible for formal training classes. May supervise others.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Real Estate or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience, with degree.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and other computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Power Platform such as Power BI and Power Query & Business Objects skills preferred.
  • Additional computer classes preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, can grasp the bigger picture, prioritization skills, project management skills, the ability to communicate with IT programmers and business users.
  • Detail oriented, accurate, analytical, work effectively individually and within a team, organizational skills.
