JOB SUMMARY:
Sr. ERP Programmer Analyst needed to help in the Support and Development of a Worldwide Multi-Language and Multi-Currency JDE Enterprise One (JDE-E1) system (version 9.2). This position will work with other JDE analysts/programmers to code both new functionality and enhancements within the JDE-E1 platform. This position requires strong knowledge of JDE-E1 (9.2) specifically the Financial and Distribution Modules. This position will also complete various report modifications and customizations as well as become familiar with code modifications Sotera Health has made to JDE-E1. This position will research requests concerning application issues and/or enhancements and work closely with other applications analysts and users to gather business and systems requirements. This position will participate in project planning activities, including defining detailed project tasks. The Sr. Programmer Analyst will perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Help with limited support of the Hyperion Financial Management software will also be required.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze user business requirements and translate requirements into technical design, scope definition, functional specifications, prioritizing, and producing documentation that drives system development and implementation.
- Responsible for application development, configuration, solution unit testing and prototyping including creating and executing test plans and use cases.
- Know and adhere to departmental standards and strict software change control policies while developing and testing applications and preparing releases for production.
- Shared responsibility for development, support, and life-cycle management of third-party integrations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
- JDE Enterprise One 9.2 applications Expert level experience in the design, coding and testing of base and custom modules, reports, and interfaces.
- Demonstrated senior level functional and technical knowledge of JDE Enterprise One Financial and Distribution modules.
- Ten years of related IT applications development experience with minimum 5-7 years practical JDE ERP experience.
- Ability to help formulate strategy and solutions for business problems.
- Ability to gather user requirements and translate those business requirements into a technical design, code and test logic and prepare them for production adhering to known departmental standards governed by strict software change control policy.
- Ability to learn new technologies to support 3rd party applications as they become part of the systems portfolio.
- BI Publisher experience is a plus.
- Ability to learn new technologies to support 3rd party applications as they become part of the systems portfolio.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written are required.
- Familiarity with JDE-E1 CNC is a plus but not required.
- Experience working with Customer Portal applications a plus.
- Experience supporting business users in a global single instance in a regulated environment a plus.
- This role is hybrid with the location preference being Broadview Heights, OH, Salt Lake City, UT or Oakbrook, IL.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields (equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree).
