Job Description
SUMMARY
Senior Engineer to perform Radio Frequency (RF) Over the Air (OTA) Antenna testing on mobile products with technologies such as CDMA, GSM, UMTS, LTE, Wi-Fi, IOT, and 5G, to ensure delivery of testing services that meet client's requirements in accordance with Global Wireless Forums' test plans and SGS quality system.

Directly reports to the Lab Supervisor, Lab Manager, or Branch Manager
JOB FUNCTIONS

• Test Engineer to perform Radio Frequency (RF) Over the Air (OTA) Antenna testing on mobile products with technologies such as CDMA, GSM, UMTS, LTE, Wi-Fi, IOT, and 5G, to ensure delivery of testing services that meet client's requirements in accordance with Global Wireless Forums' test plans and SGS quality system.
• Perform debug and engineering testing services for wireless clients; use of specified equipment to perform required tests
• Maintain high degree of knowledge of industry test requirements in order to assist customers and test equipment manufactures with issues.
• Responsible for maintaining one or more test platforms, building knowledge on said platforms: updating systems and isolating issues then communicating with test equipment service.
• Work directly with external clients including conference call , Project manager , Key Account managers , and Technical leads in order to ensure the client's product runs smoothly through the testing process
Conduct testing in accordance with established procedures, maintaining a high standard of service delivery that ensures effective customer relations.
• Complete all assigned chargeable work within the required timeframes to ensure customer and project staff satisfaction and efficiency of the business.
• Maintaining technical knowledge by learning the requirements of the test plans being asked to execute.
• Ensure completion of all assigned work and relevant documentation in accordance with required procedures and standards to fulfill SGS quality requirements.
• Assist in maintaining ISO17025 accreditation to ensure a high quality of service to clients.
• Test system management, maintenance and calibrations to ensure compliance with the SGS quality system.
• Actively improving the testing service provided by SGS.
• Maintain the laboratory and personal areas to facilitate efficient operations

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering BSEE, Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering BSCE or equivalent degree or similar technical field.
AND
- Min 4-7+ years of wireless industry experience as follows:
- RF and antenna theory preferred
- Experience of OTA or RF testing
- A broad level of CDMA/GSM/WCDMA/LTE/5G/mobile wireless knowledge in one or more areas
- Preferred Training as follows:
- KS Q ISO / IEC 17025, KOTICA
- Measurement Uncertainly, KAB
- Conformance Test User Meeting, Rohde & Schwarz
- RSE Test System Training- Test Equipment: R&S CMW500 / Anritsu MT8821C and EMC32 Software Tool
- OTA Test System Training, knowledge in Test Equipment - Anritsu MT8000A, R&S CMX500, EMQUEST Software Tool, Test System and Chamber (AMS-8500 and other ETS chambers), and Test Configuration (FS, HR, HL, BHHR, and BHHL)
- AGPS OTA Training- Test Equipment - Spirent GSS6700, SR3420 / Anritsu MT8821C, EMQUEST Software Tool, and Test System and Chamber (AMS-8923 and other ETS chambers)
- 5G NR Physical Layer, Anritsu
