Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment, including but not limited to computers, printers, and other peripherals
- Perform equipment installations and upgrades
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on electronic systems
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
- Test and calibrate electronic components
- Follow schematics and technical manuals to perform repairs and installations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Provide technical support to end-users as needed
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of electronics, including schematics and circuitry
- Experience in equipment repair and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with computer networking principles
- Mechanical knowledge for handling electronic components
- Proficiency in computer hardware installation and configuration
- Understanding of low voltage systems
- Previous experience as a service technician or field service role is a plus
- Ability to maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
- Proficient in using hand tools for repairs
