Seeking Electronics Technician
Please be aware this is an outdoor position. You will be testing Traffic count stations out in the field exposed to the elements.
looking for a qualified individual with basic Electronics knowledge such as the ability to use and read various meters measuring in Ohms, AC voltage, DC voltage, Inductance, Capacitance, dissipation, and the ability to use and read a portable oscilloscope.
candidate must also posses basic computer skills such as emailing, capable of making and editing Excel spread sheets, using Microsoft word, and other computer programs.
Job duties are but not limited to:
Traveling around the state of Florida (Georgia, South Carolina, Virginia, Ohio if needed) to maintain and troubleshoot Traffic Monitoring equipment and devices.
Planning your own route according to the weekly FDOT schedule to accomplish the requirements in a timely manner without excessive mileage.
Creating weekly reports and turning them in on a timely basic
Must be able to stay away from home 4-5 nights per week as required
Flexibility to change schedule at a moments notice
Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
