Job Description
Purpose
The Senior Director HR Technology and Operations is responsible for leading, directing, planning, developing and delivery of HR Technology, HR Compliance and HR Operations functions and strategies. This position partners with the business and across Human Resources (HR) to ensure adoption, alignment, and delivery of an exceptional employee experience.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee and direct the HR Technology (Human Resources Information Systems aka HRIS), HR Compliance and HR Operations functions to enable delivery of high-quality products, projects and services through a high performing and engaged team
+ Translate business and human resource strategies into HR technology and operational strategies, roadmaps, and initiatives to continuously advance capabilities for operational efficiencies, exceptional employee experience and other desired results
+ Lead a team that ensures compliance with employment regulations, certifications, contract requirements and related reporting
+ Collaborate and provide counsel and support to executives and senior leaders across the organization
+ Identify, develop, and coach the next generation of HR leaders
+ Lead cross-functional initiatives and change within the HR function and/or organization
+ Accountable for assigned cross-functional enterprise and HR processes
+ Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience; HS Diploma or equivalent GED required
+ 10 years of progressive work experience in Human Resources to include 5 years of HRIS
+ 7 years of HR leadership/people management experience
+ Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Additional Qualifications
+ Excellent communication skills, especially in the area of influencing and business acumen
+ Clear and comprehensive understanding of the link between HR strategy and business results
+ Ability to develop and communicate clear and actionable steps to support the business and HR strategies
+ Well-developed leadership skills and the ability to engage, inspire, influence, and develop others
+ Excellent quantitative, problem solving and analytical skills
+ Ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously without compromising quality
+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Preferred Qualifications
+ SPHR (Senior Professional Human Resources) Certification, Human Resources Information Principal (HRIP) or similar certification
+ Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
+ Experience leading HRIS, Payroll, HR Compliance, HR Operations and/or HR Shared Service function
+ Experience with Workday
Minimum Physical Job Requirements
+ Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear
+ Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
+ Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch
+ Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
+ Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Reporting Structure
+ Reports to a Vice President in the Human Resources department
Potential pay for this position ranges from $141,200.00 - $225,600.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
