Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Senior DevOps Consultant to join our award-winning Cloud Solutions team. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside a diverse and talented group of professionals on innovative cloud technology projects for a range of clients. As a Senior DevOps Consultant, you will be at the forefront of our IaC initiatives, architecting, deploying, and managing scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure for our clients. Your expertise in Terraform and production experience in public cloud environments, particularly Azure or Google Cloud, will play a pivotal role in delivering state-of-the-art solutions. Experience with AWS is a nice-to-have, adding valuable versatility to our team's capabilities.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure projects using Terraform, adhering to best practices in IaC for scalability, reliability, and security.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and technical requirements, translating them into robust Cloud Solutions.
- Provide thought leadership in the adoption of IaC methodologies, promoting a culture of automation and continuous improvement within the organization and among clients.
- Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices in DevOps, Terraform, and cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IaC practices into software development and deployment workflows.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing, IaC, and DevOps, evaluating and recommending tools and processes that can enhance our service offerings.
- Lead troubleshooting and optimization efforts for cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Participate in all project phases, from concept and design to deployment and ongoing support.
- Stay update with emerging cloud technologies and trends, applying this knowledge to client projects and solutions.
Who You Are
- Proven track record of implementing and managing infrastructure as code using Terraform in production environments on Azure or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and experience designing scalable, secure, and efficient Cloud Solutions.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and incident management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and in team settings, demonstrating leadership and initiative.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure automation.
- Relevant certifications such as HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer.
- Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

Compensation packages at Burwood Group are based on various factors unique to each candidate including work location, skillset, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
The estimated salary range for this role is ($120,000-$145,000). This role may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
