Under minimal supervision, Customer Data Steward Senior ensures the data governance guidelines and the quality standards established are operationalized, for effective control and appropriate use of data across its lifecycle. Reviews, analyzes, reconciles and audits product data.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• This position is responsible for collecting, organizing, and promoting an accurate and consistent definition and representation of information throughout the enterprise.
• Directly Interacts with application, process and business leaders to understand their information needs, communicating an enterprise-wide consistency to information, and leading activities which ensure their proper governance and management.
• Translates usage of data into both enterprise-wide cataloging and taxonomic representations of that information.
• Identifies business needs, data usage requirements, and validation metrics in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Key architect in establishing and maintaining efficient, accurate and duplicable validation processes.
• Resolves data quality exceptions, which are identified through data quality audits and reporting.
• Develops and analyzes data quality and performance metrics; collaborates and communicates with stakeholders to support operational requirements.
• Uses existing analytical tools, user research and testing to inform decisions.
• Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external data providers.
• Stays current on the latest industry technologies, trends, legal/compliance requirements and strategies.
• Assists employees, vendors or other customers by answering questions related to customer data processes, procedures and services.
• Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.
• Mentors and coaches Data Steward, I, II.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of technical data experience, including combinations of: business analysis, data analysis, data modeling, data development, and reporting/analytics delivery OR Technical Certification
• This position requires a minimum of three years, data governance, data control or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with Informatica MDM concepts including Match, Merge, Survivorship, Trust, and Base Object architecture.
• Experience working with Customer data in an Informatica MDM environment.
• Proficiency in developing SQL queries.
• Practical knowledge of compliance topics related to Customer information.
• Experience troubleshooting and auditing data is vital.
• Proven ability to audit, query, analyze and summarize large data sets is necessary.
• Working knowledge of ERP and Business Intelligence systems preferred.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills are required.
• Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization, clearly articulating ideas both verbally and in writing, is necessary.
• Ability to determine stakeholder requirements to develop and analyze reports is needed.
• Proven ability to multi-task and work successfully within strict deadlines is essential. Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet various deadlines simultaneously is required.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, including skills with Word, Excel and PowerPoint, is necessary. In addition, troubleshooting and organizational skills with a can-do attitude and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential.

Educational Requirements:
This position requires bachelor's degree in information management, statistics, finance or related field or equivalent experience.
