Job Summary
This position is responsible for designing the secure solutions to ensure the successful delivery of Cybersecurity Architecture services for project engagements across multiple business and technical portfolios. Engagement with various project teams to communicate security risks and solutions to business partners and IT staff as needed.
Work with various project teams as a subject matter expert on Information Security domain(s) and assist to define the scope of work and deliverables for the security engagement. This role will also be required to clearly articulate and discuss identified business risks and various options for mitigating those risks.
NOTE: This hybrid role can be located in CHICAGO IL or RICHARDSON TX ~ relocation will not be offered; sponsorship is not available.
- Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of hands-on experience in the information security field with expert knowledge of platform, application, storage, data, network, endpoint, cloud and mobile security.
- 2 years of leadership experience with planning and managing security engagements.
- Understanding of enterprise technologies, operations, and architectural principles and models. Knowledge of virtualized data center architectures and operations, web services and multi-tier web applications, micro-service architectures, and network protocols and technologies supporting intranet, extranet, and remote access services.
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and standards relevant to protecting data in the healthcare industry.
- Written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate technical concepts to both a technical and a non-technical audience.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience in Information Security domains such as Identity and Access Management, Network Security, Endpoint Security, Application Security, Governance & Compliance, or Incident Response.
- CISSP certification.
