Job description
The Lead Cybersecurity Architect, within the Cybersecurity and Technology department, will be tasked with the definition and implementation of the security architecture for the SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) solution. Collaborating closely with their cloud and security teams, as well as top SaaS/SSPM vendors, the resource will ensure that solutions align with our security requirements and adhere to pertinent regulations and standards. This role offers a significant opportunity to advance their career and push the limits of what's possible in Cybersecurity Architecture. The candidate would be required to be on JPMC’s site in NYC area from time to time.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and cultivate skills for the immediate team of architects on daily tasks and activities.
- Sets overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration.
- Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements.
- Manages stakeholder relationships and the team’s work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements.
- Champions the firm’s culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect, and prioritizes diverse representation.
- Define the technical target state of the product architecture and design and drive achievement of the strategy.
- Participating in threat modeling to identify vulnerabilities in product design and identify control recommendations to mitigate those risks.
- Identify security risks and emerging threats associated with the product as well as any dependencies.
- Identify key security risks and emerging threats associated with the product, technology stack, and customer base.
- Participates in evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of cybersecurity designs, technical approaches for integration with existing systems, and Cybersecurity Architecture.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on architectural security patterns and/or framework concepts and 8+ years of applied experience.
- Experience working in technical teams of architects and/or engineers.
- Experience developing architectural security patterns and/or frameworks, particularly involving SaaS and/or SSPM solutions.
- Experience documenting security architectures for SaaS and/or SSPM solutions, including security controls, policies, roles, and responsibilities.
- Experience participating in security assessments and reviews of SaaS and/or SSPM solutions to identify and remediate security gaps or risks.
- Experience producing threat models as it relate to enterprise collaboration products.
- Proficient in automation and continuous delivery methods required for the role.
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Strong knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable knowledge of Employee Platforms technologies
- Strong command of Cybersecurity organization practices, operations risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, threats, and vulnerabilities
- Experience working with vendors, and architects to ensure the successful onboarding and deployment of solutions.
- Development of Proof of Concepts to validate patterns/frameworks.
Salary per Hour: $70-$90
Note: This is a Remote position but will be required on JPMC site in NYC area from time to time. Benefits and further details about this role will be discussed once you passed the pre-screening interview.
