The Role
Ceros is seeking a creatively-minded senior Content Manager to lead our content marketing efforts. This is a full-time position, responsible for planning, drafting, editing, and assisting in the distribution of creative and compelling written materials for prospects, partners, and customers.
The ideal candidate is organized, works effectively across teams, manages multiple work streams, and is a prolific writer. But most of all, conjuring up creative, out-of-the-box content ideas should be your MO. You're an extraordinary marketer with a strong track record of executing big, bold, and against-the-grain ideas.
Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, this is a critical role as you'll be the connective tissue that owns the editorial calendar and bridges the content across multiple functions, including thought leadership, demand generation, user acquisition, and social media. We're looking for someone who brings a big creative energy to the team and is ready to do the best work of their career.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with demand generation, user acquisition, product marketing, and growth leads to generate a repository of on-brand content for marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the creative team on big and bold concepts for net new content and campaign ideas that will drive massive awareness.
- Map content to the buying journey and ensure critical stages are adequately served with smart and thoughtful content.
- Own the editorial calendar across thought leadership, social, website, demand generation, and user acquisition, and act as the connective tissue that ensures content is repurposed thoughtfully to meet the needs of many.
- Manage a team of three content and social marketing pros.
- Oversee the SEO strategy of the marketing site and ensure consistent growth in traffic volume.
- Manage the SEO agency.
- Report monthly and quarterly on content performance and production.
Practical stuff we anticipate you having
- 5+ years' experience in content and marketing
- Minimum of 2+ years of management experience
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Strong project management skills
- Strong understanding of Google Analytics and SEO
- Strategy and execution experience in demand generation, including content for lead magnets, campaign funnels and lead scoring, and personalized nurture journeys.
- Bonus: experience incorporating AI into workflows
