Job Summary
Responsible for managing Foundation grants and Community Investments. Develop, manage and evaluate a portfolio of assigned grants. Develop and implement best practices in strategy development, grant-making, and measurement of outcomes. Develop relationships externally with networks of foundations, associations, corporations, nonprofits and issue experts to advance the work in health and other related needs in the community.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Manage and evaluate a portfolio of assigned grants.
- Leads the review of applications; conducts due diligence; manages grantee relationships; coordinates on evaluations and metrics to assess the outcomes and impacts of the funded grants; Manages annual grant portfolios through life of the grants. Maintains communication with grantees, reviews grantee periodic reporting of outcomes and handles any issues that may arise through the grant. Provides direction and analysis about program funding focus areas and emerging trends in health philanthropy.
- Responsible for managing Foundation grants and Community Investments
- Works closely with Director, Community Investments and other internal partners to research emerging trends and community needs, and to develop grant programs that align with the Foundation and corporate social impact priorities and objectives. Presents findings to Foundation board.
- Leads outside committees, and internal committees formed to assist Foundation with its grant programs. Leads Drivers of Health priority teams to share findings and collaborate on solutions for community issues.
- Coordinates closely with the Learning and Leadership team and the CSR Research and Evaluation Manager to present our work and grantees’ accomplishments to internal and external constituents; coordinate and work with others in the state. Serves, as assigned, as spokesperson and representative of Foundation to community leaders, public officials, media, individuals and influential stakeholders across Florida. (10%)
- Works with internal teams to provide the information and data for reports and documents for multiple audiences as needed; Develops communications content related to Foundation programs and initiatives. Provides data to internal and external groups for reports and studies.

What You Must Have:
6+ years related work experience. Experience Details: Six or more years working in corporate philanthropy, not-for-profit organization or project/relationship management, including three or more years of leading work teams or committees
Related Bachelor’s degree or additional related equivalent work experience
Additional Required Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in formulating and implementing policies and procedures
Strong written communication, presentation and planning skills with demonstrated experience speaking to and writing for diverse audiences
Ability to clearly communicate complex information in an easy to understand manner; able to deliver key messages effectively both verbally and in writing
Demonstrated ability to work with external stakeholders and community organizations, with an emphasis on cultural competence
Demonstrated ability to achieve business results in an environment of ambiguity, conflict and constantly changing business needs
Demonstrated experience maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive information
Preferred Education
Master’s degree Applicable field of study
Additional Preferred Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of philanthropy and the nonprofit sector Experience in public affairs or public understanding/influencing

Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $88,100 - $102,000
Annualized Salary Range: $88,100 - $143,100
Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
