The Senior Claims and Warranty Managerwill lead the strategic oversight and operational management of all warranty Claims and related customer service functions within our roofing shingle manufacturing company. It involves directing the claims process, managing a team of Claims and Warranty professionals, developing and implementing policies, and ensuring compliance with legal standards. This position reports directly to the VP of Finance.
Knowledge, Education, and Experience
A bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, construction management, or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred. Minimum of 8 years in a leadership role in claims management, customer service, or warranty operations within the manufacturing or construction industry. Extensive knowledge of roofing systems, materials, construction processes, and Warranty regulations is preferred. A deep understanding of roofing products, industry regulations, and customer service is preferred to enhance the brand reputation and customer satisfaction.
Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans and translate them into actionable goals. Strong leadership and organizational skills with a proven track record of building. Demonstrated experience in handling complex and high-profile employee investigations. Expertise in federal and state employment laws and regulations. Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a proven track record of building and leading successful teams. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making. High proficiency in claims management systems, CRM, ERP, and productivity software.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication, and personal computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, G-Suite, etc.) and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously are also essential. Strong management skills, detail-oriented, flexible, and able to prioritize multiple projects with strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organization, administrative, and creative problem-solving skills are required.
