Sr. Cad Designer

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior CAD Designer. As a Senior CAD Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed designs and checking technical drawings using various CAD software. Your expertise in CAD design and knowledge of industry codes and standards will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and quality of the designs.

Duties:
- Create detailed 2D and 3D models using CAD software such asAutoCAD, Revit, or Risa 3D
- Perform structural steel design
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) to evaluate the structural integrity of designs
- Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design issues and optimize product performance
- Conduct design reviews to gather feedback and incorporate necessary changes
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior CAD designers

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred but not required
- Proven experience as a CAD Designer or similar role
- Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Risa 3D, Revit, or RAM Elements
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
