We are growing our locations and are investing more than $2 billion into establishing a new large-scale manufacturing site for biopharmaceuticals in the United States to accelerate the growth of our Bio CDMO (Contract and Development Manufacturing Organization) business. This will be the largest end-to-end cell culture CDMO provider in North America.

The new site will offer end-to-end solutions to our customers looking to manufacture biopharmaceuticals in the US. In addition to drug substance manufacture, it will also provide automated fill-finish and assembly, packaging, and labeling services. The new state-of-the-art facility is located in Holly Springs, North Carolina, United States.

 

About This Role

 

The Sr. BI and Analytics Specialist (Sr Application Specialist) is responsible for operations and maintenance of the local BI & Analytics systems as the single point of contact and escalation for the locally used systems.  The role and responsibilities will also evolve as the project group expands.


What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for 2nd level support for the systems and ensuring guidelines, how-to's and other relevant documentation is available for 1st level support
  • Implements best practices for development and administration in accordance with global standards as defined by the global team for BI and Analytics
  • Understands data culture from an IT perspective in order to model and drive for the site
  • Monitors, troubleshoots, and optimizes existing environments
  • Creates users, application roles, and sets up security for business users.
  • Manages users, groups, licenses, and integration with Active Directory, taking care of Authorization and permissions, as per global processes.
  • Collaborates with end users, project stakeholders and support partners to identify needs, goals, and business models
  • Tests new features and enhancements released by Tableau and Alteryx
  • Assesses the current state & identifies opportunities for improvements and best practice recommendations
  • Prepares and executes training for the users of the systems
  • Resolves incidents related to the system, including proper escalation of issues to supporting teams, as required.
  • Ensures project implementations are well received throughout the organization
  • Coordinates with vendors as it relates to the system
  • Other duties, as assigned

Who You Are

  • Experience testing new features and enhancements released by Tableau and Alteryx

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Tableau and Alteryx is required.  This should include designing, developing, and user acceptance testing
  • Experience with admin functions related to data sources and extracts, schedules, tasks, and subscriptions
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and fluency in English
  • High sense of responsibility
  • Collaborative attitude with the willingness to work with global peers and cross-functional teams toward company and department goals
  • Ability to prioritize and work autonomously based on common goals and objectives
  • Strong analytical mind, eye for detail and problem-solving skills.

 Preferred Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in a GMP manufacturing environment
  • Experience working within a global IT team and associated processes
  • Tableau Certification(s)
