This position is located in Jonesboro, Arkansas

Our client operates in the food manufacturing sector and is seeking a Sr. Automation Controls Engineer to become a valuable addition to their expanding team. This person will oversee all facets pertaining to electricity, automation, process control, manufacturing execution systems (MES), and the infrastructure, applications, and resources of the Factory Automation System (FAS).

Sr. Automation Control Engineer Benefits and Compensation

• Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000
• Monday to Friday Day Shift

Sr. Automation Controls Engineer Qualifications and Responsibilities

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Controls and/or Automation Engineer in a factory setting.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Support the design, installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation of capital upgrades to manufacturing control systems, including PLC (Allen Bradley) & HMIs.
• Guarantee the dependability of both hardware and software components in the factory's electrical and process control equipment.
• Manage and optimize all technical aspects of the plant's electrical power distribution, from the utility company service entrance down through switchboards, transformers, distribution panels, etc., to all individual loads.
• Participate in and validate the design of power distribution systems, motor control centers, control panels, human-machine interface (HMI), instrumentation, system integration, Factory Automation System (FAS) architecture, and commissioning and start-up.
• Proficient in PLC and HMI programming.
• Familiarity with food processing operations and technology, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and food safety.
