As a Sr. Audio Visual Engineer, you will create and modify control system software for integrated Audio Video Systems by converting requirements into a functional user interface and control code. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with key stakeholders to meet unique requirements and work with hardware and software systems and platforms delivering robust capabilities. You will install control programs and touch panel design onsite, offsite, and remotely.

A Sr. Audio Visual Engineer will be responsible for presentations, Sales Engineering support, BOM creation assistance, SOW assistance along with planning and designing solutions for AV systems.
Be available as a pre-sales resource for sales.
- Be an escalation point for Engineers and Sr. Engineers.
- Ability to troubleshoot multi-vendor issues.
- Lead a Project team.
- Be current with vendor offerings and technology.
- Ability to assess Customer environment and make recommendations.
- Escalate issues to other team members as needed.
- Serve the Customer to ePlus’ standards.
- Working towards achieving multiple advanced manufacturer specific advanced certifications.
- Read and interpret AV systems drawings.
- Gather programming requirements.
- Create new control modules, control code and user interfaces.

- Proficient in control system design (Crestron, AMX, Extron, QSC).
Must be fully knowledgeable and able to design, plan, implement and support IT solutions using two or more of the following technologies:
- Networking
- Collaboration (Messaging)
- VoIP, SIP, RTP, CoS, QoS, Wireshark, Webex Control Hub, Cisco end-point management
- Video Conferencing
- Security
Education and Experience:
4-year College degree preferred.- 7+ years of hands-on experience in IT preferred.
- Crestron SIMPL control system programming preferred.
- Crestron VT Pro-e GUI Design preferred.
- Crestron toolbox maintenance and diagnostics preferred.
- Multiple industry recognized certifications preferred as follows:
o Biamp TesiraFORTE certification
o Biamp Server / Server-IO certification
Position Specifics:
The base salary range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $90,000 and $125,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions and discretionary bonuses, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Physical Requirements of Position:
Ability of finger dexterity to be used primarily to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects or pinching fingers together. Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands and / or fingers. Speech ability must be at a level where one must convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly or quickly. Hearing ability must be at a level to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information. Visual ability must be average with ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery. Physical strength for sedentary work with sitting most of the time. May have to exert or lift up to 10 – 20 pounds of force occasionally.
