We are seeking a result-oriented, collaborate Senior Associate Brand Manager to lead this important business in Pet's largest subcategory, dry dog ($16B!) as we scale to feed even more pets like family! The Dog Dry category is ever evolving, and we need someone to help shape the vision for the future. The Pet Segment is in growth mode, and BLUE is investing across the 4Ps, actively building 1:1 relationship with pet parents, and funding growth for the future. This is an exciting time to be a Buff!
In this role, you'll be accountable for partnering to develop the annual plans and long-term strategy for LPF as well as partnering to build the overall BLUE dog feeding strategy. The ideal person for this role loves problem solving by finding clarity in the ambiguous, helping lead new ways of working cross-functionally, operationalizing anything (process, project) and is energized by finding creative solutions to sticky problems.
This is a highly visible role with many opportunities to be in front of Senior leadership. Expect to build extensive experience in storytelling, building retailer sell stories and managing the omni-channel (approx. 40% of the business is in pure-play ecomm) as well as building brand management culture at BLUE.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Deeply understand the pet parent
• Partner with Sr. Brand Manager to develop long term strategy for LPF dog dry based on latest in-market developments and new consumer research.
• Work cohesively and independently with cross functional team to generate ideas against each of the 4Ps in support of LPF and dry dog LRP strategies
• Ensure execution across 4Ps is consistent with LPF foundation and BLUE Masterbrand
• Create purpose-driven brand strategies that drive sustainable brand growth and deliver financial forecast (RNS & Profit) across the portfolio
• Lead & collaborate across Dry Dog team by mentoring Jr. ABM to ensure team achieves brand strategies and portfolio growth
• P&L ownership of LPF
• Monthly demand review & forecasting accountability
• Collaborate with experts across 4Ps to assess and evaluate solutions, orchestrate annual plan, and ensure execution across 4Ps is consistent with brand foundation
• Develop initial recommendation on all strategies across the 4Ps
• Partner with Sales teams to create compelling stories to profitably win with key customers
• Understand consumer and work with Consumer Insights on deep dive business analyses to identify innovative business opportunities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Ego-free, highly motivated, action-oriented, collaborative, curious learn-it-all with a growth mindset
• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of work experience in consumer centric brand company
• High business acumen - understand P&L mechanics and how to impact top-line and bottom-line drivers
• Ability to navigate complexity and drive connections across functions, ideas, and processes
• Demonstrate comfort and capability with businesses in high growth
• Critical thinking, problem solving and risk management
• Adaptability and quick learning agility
• Experience as an Associate Brand Manager or similar role
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• MBA
• Sr. ABM experience
• Pet Parent or love of dogs with empathy for pet parents
• Strong analytic ability to translate data into meaningful insights and action
• Ability to strategically choose levers to balance short-term commitments and long-term brand health
• Understand P&L mechanics and how to impact topline and bottom-line drivers
• Ability to identify and evaluate brand building ideas across 4Ps and make connections across other brands in portfolio
• Ability to determine how to use 4Ps to achieve brand strategy and goals
• Demonstrate comfort and capability with brands in all stages of growth
• Understand how Sales organization operates and role of SRM levers
• Ability to influence and inspire direct and cross-functional team

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $90100.00 - $150300.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range. Beyond base salary, General Mills offers a competitive Total Rewards package focusing on your overall well-being.
