Mativ is currently searching for a Senior Applications Developer role to join our team. This role will be responsible for support of our Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion/Cloud and third-party systems. This person is expected to have strong coding and debugging skills to help build solutions to keep Mativ a leader in our market. Teamwork, respect, collaboration, leadership, and self-motivation are keys to success for this position. Responsibilities
Client Engagement
- Manage and lead meetings with internal business clients to understand their needs effectively.
- Skillfully handle customer requests, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions.
Issue Resolution
- Collaborate with end-users and third-party vendors to identify and resolve production issues promptly.
- Provide support for Oracle Applications and third-party software, contributing to a seamless operational environment.
Project Management
- Maintain composure under high-pressure situations, ensuring the successful delivery of business projects and resolution of daily issues.
- Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities, delivering timely solutions and designs.
Multi-Project Development
- Manage development across multiple projects simultaneously while actively participating in production support issues.
Communication and Understanding
- Demonstrate effective communication skills, actively listening, and maintaining a customer-focused approach.
- Develop a deep understanding of solution execution, comprehending the how, what, and why of the developed solutions.
Design and Documentation
- Review, validate, and translate functional designs into technical designs.
- Analyze, design, test, implement, and provide post-implementation support for both easy and complex programs, ensuring well-documented processes.
Team Collaboration
- Promote a strong team environment within IT and across business functions and departments.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer to other staff members, fostering collaboration within IT and the broader business community.
- Collaborate with the BRM team to deliver effective solutions to the business.
Leadership and Innovation
- Demonstrate leadership by recommending enhancements and new software projects aligning with Mativ goals.
- Provide guidance and mentorship for Application Developers, contribution to their skill development.
IT Service management
- Manage tickets in supported ITSM solution, ensuring adherence to SLA response times.
Support and Values
- Provide optimal support for existing applications and implement new applications efficiently.
- Offer after-hours support for primary support areas.
- Uphold and embody Mativ values and IT culture in all interactions.
Education/Qualifications
Required
- Degree in information technology, computer science, or related.
- 7+ years of Oracle Development.
- Extensive Oracle PL/SQL programming experience.
- APEX development.
Preferred
- Oracle Forms and Reports.
- Oracle REST/SOAP Web services.
- Experience in building integrations using OIC middleware application.
- Strong understanding of the Oracle Order Management module and processes.
