We are currently searching for a Senior Supply Chain Analyst to support our Atkore North American businesses. Reporting to the Sr. Manager - Supply Chain Projects and Analytics, this person will conduct data analyses that will drive decisions to enhance our overall Supply Chain. The main objective of this position is to help the company increase Supply Chain efficiency, reduce costs, and exceed customer expectations. The role will lead data driven decision making by developing standardized methods for reviewing operational data. The role will also develop methods to perform ad hoc analyses for specific business cases. Additionally, this role works cross functional with Sales and Operations to ensure that methods for measuring company success align with customer expectations.

What you'll do:
- Track Key Performance Indicators and report on Supply Chain performance.
- Establish new methods and metrics to track and measure Supply Chain success.
- Identify new methods/tools for conducting strategic analysis.
- Create standard methods for reporting key metrics.
- Develop and maintain company strategy for stocking product at regional distribution centers.
- Identify/establish new tools/methodologies for reporting technologies for dashboarding and reporting.
- Provide constant guidance to Supply Chain teams on changes in SKU and regional level demand patterns that could prompt changes in how SKUs are managed.
- Conduct regular demand segmentation providing guidance on areas of emphasis for demand planning.
- Support the tracking of excess and obsolescence and drive for reduction through root causing, accountability, and lean methodologies.
- Maintain reporting system/methods to ensure data is accurate and can be pulled in timely method.
- Maintain awareness of Supply Chain industry processes, practices, and technologies to support or lead future initiatives.
- Develop presentations that illustrate key points and drive to business decisions.
- Continuously looking for lean opportunities to improve current toolset and streamlining processes.
- Creating standard work documents for procedures and responsibilities.
- All other duties as assigned.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or other relevant fields
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in supply planning, materials planning, or related Supply Chain management.
- Highly analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and proactively manage through conflicts and setbacks.
- Experience working in S&OP, SIOP, or IBP processes preferred.
- Advanced level Excel skills (Power BI preferred) which include experience in creating Excel/Database files is required with SQL query building experience preferred.
- Experience working in data warehousing and/or analytics software a plus.
- Experience in S&OP processes, customer planning or supply planning
- Experience with any MRP or supply planning software such as SAP APO, JDA Fulfillment, or JDE MRP
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
- Position will require sitting and standing.
