Robert Half is recruiting for a Senior Accountant/ consultant for our privately held Retain client. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for fixed assets management and payroll accruals and other balance sheet account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling high-volume transactions related to fixed assets, payroll accounting, and accruals for a workforce of approximately 4,000 employees. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong Excel skills, and the ability to effectively manage heavy data flows. The role will be hybrid located in CA.
- Competence with financial data analysis and report generation that is prompt and accurate- Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
- 5+ years of overall general accounting experience
- Remarkable analytical, quantitative and social skills
- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly desired
- Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
- Deep understanding of Balance Sheet Reconciliation
- Fixed assets experience desired
- Knowledge of general ledger
- Proficient in ERP systems
- Proven ability to work and communication well with manager-level associates
- Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
- Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong time management and organizational skills
