The Royal Caribbean Group’s Royal Caribbean International brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Sr Account ExecutiveCredit Card and Loyalty on the Marketing Team reporting to the Senior Manager of Credit Card and Gift Card Marketing
This position sits on-site in Miami FL
Position Summary:
The Senior Account Executive of Credit Card and Loyalty is responsible for driving Credit Card acquisitions through comprehensive training of onboard and call center staff for Royal Caribbean and Celebrity brands This individual will be a product champion effective at advocating the importance of the co-branded Credit Card and loyalty program to key personnel Responsibilities also include onboard audits and call listening sessions to ensure delivered program is in compliance with all regulations and established processes
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Staff Training & Motivation
- Conducts both shoreside and onboard training for all staff responsible for promoting and selling the co-branded Credit Card During shipboard visits meet and observe Credit Card sales staff conduct relevant training sessions review onboard program delivery (events marketing materials etc)
- and oversee internal materials audit During call center visits meet with training supervisors and staff to conduct relevant training sessions observe
- and listen to call transfers to card issuer
- Shoreside support for all onboard and call center staff inquiries about the Credit Card and MyCruise Rewards program
- Develop training materials (online/video/written) and support development of promotional videos Work with the bank and creative agency on all promotional and educational collateral
- Channel Growth
- Responsible for delivering Year-over-Year improvement in Credit Card acquisition targets
- Identify opportunities to promote and improve the presentation of the card program
- Work with shoreside team to move forward on growth opportunities and develop pilots
- Work with the Credit Card Lead to establish monthly application targets
- Develop and execute contests and incentive programs to drive staff engagement and increase acquisitions Train staff on new programs operational updates
- and initiatives
Program Expert and Advocate Maintains full knowledge of Credit Card and associated rewards program - including any computer software programs related to processing applications and managing points redemptions
- Eliminates barriers to acquisition and sales by advocating thoughtful solutions and opportunities Manage weekly/monthly reporting execution needs for the program
- including onboard and call center staff incentives
- Liaise with co-brand card partners on all program initiatives and priorities relative to the onboard and call center channels
Compliance and Collateral Management Conduct audits of program delivery and onboard collateral- delivering reporting
- Reviews compliance processes with onboard manager
- Provides written escalation for all defects to shoreside team
- Completes monthly written compliance updates to shoreside team
Financial Responsibilities Work with Lead Credit Card & Loyalty to forecast track- and report on staff compensation relative to co-brand card incentives and other initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Knowledge and Skills:
- College Degree preferred
- Microsoft Office: A high proficiency with Excel and working knowledge of all of MS Office is necessary to perform daily duties
- Resource Planning: The ability to coordinate internal and external resources to meet deadlines Communications Acumen: Strong abilities in written and verbal communications crafting messaging and expressing intent powerfully and simply
- An acute attention to detail to ensure accuracy and understanding of message
Physical Demands:
Frequently stands walks sits and uses eye/hand coordination- color definition Must be comfortable in a fast-paced entrepreneurial workplace with shifting priorities and understand how to get work done and meet deadlines with near 100% accuracy in this environment Frequent travel by ship
- car and aircraft both domestic and internationally (up to 75% travel)
- Must be willing to work non-traditional business hours from time to time as the job requirements dictate
