SUMMARY
The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with new clients as well as maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts. You will also collaborate regularly with colleagues to ensure the Company delivers consistent, world class event support services. Your experience, strong work ethic, self-disciplined character and effective interpersonal communication skills will help you succeed as a Senior Account Executive with Show Imaging.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Represent Show Imaging in the national and global marketplace
- Create accurate quotes and proposals to respond to leads, RFP’s and other business opportunities.
- Maintain an unparalleled level of responsiveness to client requests
- Work with clients to develop practical and imaginative solutions that will help deliver their creative vision.
- Educate clients on Company activities and innovations, and regularly discuss new opportunities with Clients/ Prospects to strengthen relationships.
- Use the Company’s toolkit (client lists, email, presentation tools, etc.), and take personal initiative to research, identify, and interact with prospects and existing clients.
- Assist in developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
- Maintain a list of target accounts that present new business opportunities for the Company and build long term business relationships with key individuals within the target account list. Monitor and analyze personal performance and suggest improvements on how Show Imaging can help enhance show and sales performance.
- Regularly share pertinent information about clients and projects with internal team members.
- Follow up with clients and the Company’s internal team to receive feedback on Company performance and client satisfaction.
- Stay in front of industry trends and the competitive market landscape
- Visit select show sites and work with the team to ensure the Company is exceeding expectations and delivering on what was promised.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional groups.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or technical theatre or equivalent work related experience and knowledge preferred.
- 5+ years of sales related experience in the corporate, broadcast & live event markets
- Organized and able to multi-task
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint (or Keynote).
- Advanced understanding of various types of event technology, including sound, lighting and video equipment.
- Remote work location will be considered with proper qualifications. Show Imaging is headquartered in Vista, CA and has offices in Orlando and Nashville with plans to expand to other markets.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be willing to work extended hours/days when required to meet internal and client deadlines
- Work weeks ranging from 30 hours to 80 hours depending on event schedules and client deadlines.
- Weekend work is required based upon event schedules.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- 25%-50% local or national travel may be required depending on project workload, i.e. job sites, office depots in San Diego, Nashville and Orlando, client locations, etc.
