Job Description:

13+ years of IT experience and minimum of 5+ years of experience on Azure Database Migration with technically guided, managed and governed the team. Willing to provide 24x7 support, flexible to work in the shifts.Primary skills:Understanding customer DB SQL, Windows, Linux server landscapeConfiguring SQL Server HA/DR (FCI, AG) in Azure with multiple subnets and multiple regions, Availability setConfiguring and Administering Security/Policies/Resource Governing/Azure Key VaultMigrating SQL Server from On-Premises to Azure Cloud using DMA, DMS, Azure Data Studio, Log shipping, Backup & restore and various other migration methods.Work with Internal stakeholders, Customer stakeholders and Project Managers to understand the migration requirements and provide solutions accordinglyDriving the cloud Solutioning Azure activities for large complex migrationPlan Storage and Capacity Management and create logical models and build physical modelsInstalling and configuring SQL Server all the version (200x to 2022)Hands on experience on Windows and SQL servers issues and troubleshooting.Secondary Skills:Design, implement and operate database systems for performance and reliability in AzureOn-Prem/Cloud upgrade of SQL Server from Legacy version to latest versions in AzureGood knowledge in T-SQL scripting & PowerShell scriptGood understanding of Database Performance using various toolsConforming to client compliances and expectationsCertifications (Good to have)Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect AssociateDP-300: Administering Microsoft Azure SQL SolutionsAZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $36.13 - $80.84 per hour
