SalaryProgressive healthcare industry company, located in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles, CA is seeking to hire a full-time employee to join their IT team as a SQL Server Database Administrator, DBA. You will work a hybrid work schedule, 3 days in the office and two days from your home. The successful candidate will have 7-10+ years of SQL Server DBA experience, through at least SQL Server version 2016, and MUST HAVE 5+ years of that experience in the healthcare industry as a SQL Server DBA with strong experience in HIPAA Security. Main duties and responsibilities include configuration on multiple SQL Servers, implementation, troubleshooting, support, performance tuning and optimization, capacity planning, upgrades, mirroring and replication, automation using .NET or PowerShell, SQL internals, disaster recovery, backups, SQL log reviews, and High Availability. You must also have strong compliance experience with HIPAA Security, all physical, data and IT security requirements, including health and safety policies and procedures. Salary range is $140-150K, plus excellent benefits, 401K, health, vision, dental insurance, PTO and much more.
