Responsibilities:
- Responsible for working closely with the technical leads and Product Owners to deliver & support data, analytics, and reporting functionalities in the GWD platform
- Responsible for hands-on application development to support the current and target process across the SDLC design, build, test, deploy & support
Requirements:
- Significant experience in Microsoft SQL & Oracle database programming and development
- Significant development & integration experience in Microsoft database modules like SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, CUBE (Star Schema)
- Proven experience as a Database Architect, with a focus on modernization projects
- Proficient in performing high-paced proof of concepts/ proof of value is exploring different migration techniques from standard database tech to advance softwares
- Ability to work / collaborate with shared teams to build working models and disseminate to wider group of developers for adoption
- In-depth knowledge of database technologies such as [SQL, Oracle], big data technology stack, Scala, Pig, MongoDB, and Snowflake
- Assess and analyze existing database architecture to identify opportunities for modernization
- Proficiency in database design, optimization, and performance tuning
- Significant experience in data normalization, denormalization, compression techniques to optimize data-size and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and align database solutions accordingly
- Ensure data integrity, security, and performance in the modernized database environment
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams during the implementation of database changes
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in both traditional databases and big data
Pay Range: $58.26 - $66.26
