Sql Developer

Hybrid work schedule.
Our client is looking for an experienced SQL Developer with a passion for database management and a track record of success. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience analyzing and developing in SQL, including queries and stored procedures, as well as 1+ years of experience working with and developing in .NET languages such as C# and VB.
As an SQL Developer, you will ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of both new and legacy SQL data, jobs, and scripts.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize an outdated point-of-sale system.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL data, jobs, and scripts.
• Ensure data stability, integrity, and efficient operation.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and issues.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Work with .NET languages (C#, VB) to enhance system functionality.
• Collaborate with Application Development and Infrastructure Support teams.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain documentation for SQL processes and procedures.

Requirements and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years' experience analyzing and developing in SQL, including queries and stored procedures.
• 1+ years' experience working with and developing in .NET languages (C#, VB).
• Strong understanding of database management principles.
• Experience with standard Microsoft SQL Server operations
• Proficiency in optimizing SQL queries for performance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus.
