Job description

The Parks and Recreation department is hiring a Sprockets Network and Quality Coordinator. This position leads and designs professional development, continuous program improvement processes, and collaborative engagement for the Sprockets Network. This position also provides general leadership to Sprockets supporting planning, evaluation, communication, and general operations.

Here's what you can expect to do in this role:
  • Work with stakeholders to identify, plan, implement, and evaluate professional development and staff training focused on increasing capacity to serve children and teens.
  • Develop policies and procedures and maintain record keeping systems
  • Conduct research and analysis to determine and meet the needs of the Sprockets Network
  • Prepare and disseminate public information and assist with grant preparation

A Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Education, Urban Planning, Information Systems, Management, Business Management, or a closely related field and four years of relevant project and management support experience including; research, collection, compilation, and assessment of data, program support/planning, or equivalent experience. Acceptable related degrees may be specified by the requirements of each hiring department.
