Description
Attention college students! Are you interested in a fulfilling job that allows you to inspire and mentor youngsters? Do you have a strong desire to help younger students learn and grow? Are you willing to make this spring an unforgettable experience for our campers? If yes, then we have an amazing opportunity for you! We are seeking engaging and energetic Camp Counselors to lead our campers through a fun-filled and adventurous Spring Camp. Join us now and be a part of creating unforgettable memories for our campers!
Spring Camp 2024 is scheduled from March 25th - April 1st!
Responsibilities of the Spring Camp Counselor include, but are not limited to:
- Facilitate games, activities, and discussions that encourage campers to appreciate and respect themselves and others
- Provide a nurturing, safe, fun learning environment for campers
- Supervise campers on field trips
- Share your unique experiences, talents, and skills with our community
Requirements
- Minimum of HS Diploma or Equivalent
- 45 Hours of Child Growth and Development
- 45 Hours of School Age Curriculum
- One year of experience working with school-age children (or 30 college credits)
Other Qualifications
- Professional Presentation
- US citizen or current work visa
- 19+ years of age
- State of Maryland and FBI background check clearance
